SECOND ORDER OF THE DAY.
The hour of 8.30 P. M. having arrived,
The Senate considered the Second Order of the Day,
being
Mr. Peter, from majority of Committee oii Elections,
reported favorably (Mr. Dennis dissenting),
Senate bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article of the Code of Public General Laws, title
‘Elections,' sub-title ‘Registration,' as the said section
was repealed and re-enacted by the Act of 1896, chapter
202, to come in after section 25 of said Article, and to be
known as ‘25 A,' relating to legal residence of voters."
Mr. Putzel moved that further consideration of said.
bill be indefinitely postponed.
Which motion was rejected by yeas and nays, as fol-
lows:
