The Journal of Tuesday was read and approved.
ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Applegarth, it was
Ordered, That James W. Owens be paid the sum of
$50, for the Senate's share for clerical and professional
services rendered the Joint Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and Tributaries, in drawing and preparing their
bills.
Which was read and referred to .the Committee on
Finance.
On motion of Mr. Brewington, it was
Ordered, That John E. McCusker be paid the same
compensation as the additional engrossing clerks ap-
pointed at the last session of the Legislature, for ser-
vices rendered to the Engrossing Committee of that
body, for which he received no compensation.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.
