The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 137 to
142, both inclusive, of Article 3, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Baltimore County, ' sub-
title 'Justices of the Peace and Constables, ' and to add new
sections to said Article, to be designated as 'Sections 142
A, 142 B, 142 C and 142 D, ' and to repeal chapter 597, of
Acts of 1890, entitled 'An Act to confer additional juris-
diction upon Justices of the Peace of Baltimore county,
and to repeal chapter 496, of the Acts of 1892. entitled
'An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section
3, of chapter 597, passed at January Session 1898, en-
titled 'An Act to confer additional jurisdiction upon Jus-
tices of the Peace of Baltimore county. "
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays as amended. "

Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 11, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Fred-
erick County, ' by inserting after section 139, under a new
sub-title to be designated 'Fees of Officers, ' certain ad-
ditional sections, to be known as '139 A and 139 B, ' reg-
ulating certain fees to be paid to the sheriff of Frederick
county, and to the county constables of said county. "
