House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of
Police Commissioners of Baltimore city to increase the
pension of Alexander Slaysman. a retired patrolman of
the police force of Baltimore city. ''

Which was read a first time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of
Police Commissioners of Baltimore city to increase the
pension of Ambrose A. Ryan, a retired patrolman of the
police force of Baltimore city. "

Which was read a first time.

Also favorably, with proposed amendments,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 10, 37, 59, 77. 97 and 176, of the
Act of 1898, chapter 123, entitled 'City of Baltimore, '
sub-title 'Charter. ' "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

"Provided, however, that copies of said applications be
served upon the adjoining property owners by said ap-
plicant before filing said application before said board. "

In line 15, amend by inserting words, after the word
Article, "and shall also discharge the duties of Sanitary
Inspector for his ward. "

Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to issue the stock of said
corporation to an amount not exceeding one million, three
hundred and fifty thousand dollars for the purpose of
providing a public lighting plant to supply light to said
city and to the inhabitants thereof, and to authorize the
submission of an ordinance for that purpose to the legal
voters of said city. "
