The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered the
following message:

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 15 of Art-
icle 9, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled 'At-
tachment, ' and to re-enact the same with amendments. "

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays. "

Also,

House bill entitled "An Act to correct a clerical error
in paragraph 19, of section 1, of the Act of 1898, chapter
323, entitled 'An Act to appropriate certain sums of
money in support of sundry schools and charitable insti-
tutions in the State of Maryland, for each of the two
fiscal years ending on the 30th day of September, 1899,
and on the 30th day of September, 1900, respectively, and
to appropriate for the Hospital for the Women of Mary-
land the sum of $2, 000, which, under said Act as signed by
the, Governor, said hospital failed to receive in conse-
quence of said clerical error. "

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays; "

Also,

House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of the
Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd
Fellows, as incorporated by chapter 18, of the Acts passed
at the January Session of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1880, by changing the name of said corporation
to the 'Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Independent Order
of Odd Fellows. ' "

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas arid
nays. "

Also,

Senate bill No. 87, entitled "An Act to appropriate a
sum of money to pay the 'Frostburg Forum' and other
newspapers for publishing the Constitutional Amend-
ment and Governor's Proclamation. "

Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Ways and Means.
