General Assembly of Maryland for 1900.
Which unfavorable report was adopted.
Mr. Knott, from Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to amend the Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the December
session, 1835, thereof, chapter 328, entitled 'An Act to
incorporate the George's Creek Mining Company, ' as an-
nexed and supplemented by the Act of said General As-
sembly, passed at the adjourned May session, 1836,
thereof, chapter 382, entitled 'A supplement to the Act
to incorporate the George's Creek Mining Company
(whereby amongst other things the name of the said
company was changed to the name of the George's Creek
Coal and Iron Company), by adding certain additional
sections thereto enlarging the corporate powers of said
company and providing for the appointment of a vice-
president for said company. "

House bill entitled "An Act to change the name of the
Mortgage and Trust Company, incorporated by chapter
263, of the Acts of 1898, entitled 'An Act to incorporate
Mortgage and Trust Company, to that of the 'The Stew-
art Trust Company, ' and to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 13, of said chapter, subjecting said
company, to certain provisions and authorizing it to unite
with any other company. "
