REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Waters, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to add 4 new sections to
Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Fred-
erick County, ' under the new sub-title 'Mount Pleasant, '
to follow section 373 of said Article, and to be known as
'Section 373 A, 373 B, 373 C and 373 D., being An Act to
prohibit the running at large and pasturing of live stock
along the turnpike which runs through the village of Mt.
Pleasant, Frederick county, Md. "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In section 373 A, line 10, after the word "east, " insert
the following:

"And on all public roads within a radius of one mile
from the public school horse in Mt. Pleasant, Frederick
county, Md. "

In section 373 B, line 3, after the word "between, " in-
sert the words "and within. "

Which was read a first time.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Lehmayer, from the Judiciary Committee, reported
favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act granting and declaring
the sanction and confirmation of the General Assembly
of Maryland, to the Request made by and contained in
the last will and testament of John Cantler, late of Bal-
timore county, deceased, and the codicil thereto and also
to the bequests made by and contained in the last will
and testament and codicil thereto cf Eliza Jane Cantler,
late of Baltimore county, deceased, and ratifying and
confirming the said bequests in the will of the said John
