PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.

Mr. Corkran presented the petition of Winfred Web-
ster and 47 other citizens, praying for the enactment of
a law incorporating the town of Secretary, Dorchester
county.

Which was read and referred to the Dorchester county
delegation.

Mr. Sanford presented the petition of citizens of Bal-
timore city for the passage of the bill assuring a liberal
Sunday law.

Which was read and referred to the Committe on Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Proctor presented the petition of 108 residents of
Harford county protesting against any change in the
local option law.

Which was read and referred to the Harford county
delegation.

Mr. Mitchell presented the petition of 185 residents of
Harford county protesting against any change in the Lo-
cal Option law of said county.

Which was read and referred to the Harford county
delegation.

The Speaker presented the petition of Rev. E. C. Sun-
field and others, praying for the enactment of a General
Local Option law for the State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Temperance.
