LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Sanford,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 247 of Article 27, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title 'Crimes and Punishments, '
sub-title ' Sabbath Breaking, ' as far as the said section
applies to Baltimore city, and to add a new section to
said Article, to follow section 247, to be designated 'Sec-
tion 247 A. ' "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and, re-enact
with amendments section 248, of Article 27, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title ' Crimes and Punishments, '
sub-title ' Sabbath Breaking, ' so far as the same applies
to Baltimore city. "
The Speaker announced the following Committee on
