On motion of Mr. Knott,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations,
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to empower the
United Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore City, a
body corporate under the General Incorporation Laws of
the State of Maryland, to increase its capital stock and
to issue perpetual policies of insurance. "
On motion of Mr. Simmons,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and Its Tributaries to introduce a bill to regulate
the catching of oysters in the Patuxent river.
JOINT RESOLUTION:
On motion of Mr. Lehmayer,
The following Joint Resolution was submitted;
A Joint Resolution authorizing the State Librarian to
deliver to the State's Attorney of Baltimore city, a full
and complete set of the Maryland Reports, and also a
copy of the Code and Supplement.
Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the State Librarian be, and she is hereby authorized
to deliver to the State's Attorney of Baltimore city, a full
and complete set of Maryland Reports, including reports of
Harris and McHenry, Harris and Johnson, Harris and Gill,
Gill and Johnson and Gill, and also a copy of the Mary-
land Code and of the Supplement thereto, for the use of
the State's Attorney's office; provided there be in the
State Library sufficient copies thereof, after retaining the
copies necessary for the use of the Library.
And be it further resolved, That this Joint Resolution
shall take effect from the date of its passage.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Library.
