REPORT OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Graeff, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the salaries of

the Mayor, Councilmen and fees in criminals cases of the

town of Frostburg. "

Which was read a first time.

Also favorably,

House bill bill entitled "An Act to provide for a tax
collector for the town of Frostburg. "

Which was read a first time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the town of
Barton, Allegany county, Maryland. "

Which was read a first time.

Also, favorably, with proposed amendments,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 185 and 186, of Article 1, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Allegany County, ' sub-
title 'Manufacturers and Miners. ' "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend section 186, on line 7, by inserting after the
word "aforesaid" the following, "or deduction of dues
for Miner's Mutual Aid Societies. "

Which was read a second time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
chapter 179, of the Acts of 1898, of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland, entitled 'Allegany County, ' sub-title
'County Tax Collectors, ' to be known as 'Section 42 D. ' "

Mr. Lancaster, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with proposed amendment,

House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 9, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Char-
les County, ' under the new sub-title 'Dogs, ' to follow
section 58, and to be designated as 'Section 58 A. '"
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "fee" in the first line of section 51 A,
insert the words "of three dollars. "
