TUESDAY, February 27th, 1900.

The House met at J 2 M., and was opened with prayer
by the Rev. J. B. Pruitt

Present at the call of the roll the following members:

The Journal of the 26th was read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.

Mr. Norris, of Carroll, presented the petition from
Rev. Kolb, of New Windsor, Carroll county, against
modification of Sunday law,

Mr. Keys presented the petition of 38 citizens of Elk-
ton against repeal of Sunday law.

Mr. Bennett presented the petition of Charles H. Skin
and others against same.

Mr. Satterfield presented the petition of Rev. Wm. J.
D. Lucas and 19 others of Caroline county against same.

Mr. Contee presented the petition of Geo. W. Lillibridge
and 30 others against repeal of the Sunday law.

Mr. Anderson, of Carroll, presented the petition of H.
R. Savage and others against same.
