NIGHT SESSION.

MONDAY, Feb. 19th, 1900.

The House met at 8 P. M., and was opened with
prayer by the Rev. J. B. Pruitt.

Presenttat the call of the roll the following members:

Messrs. Speaker, Garner, Ditty, Feldmeyer, Gibson,
Walbach, of G., Lancaster, Stewart, Truitt, of Baltimore
county; Mann, Sandman, Jeffers, Collins, Dryden, Corkran,
Pattison, Mackie, Keys, Kimble, Perkins, Contee, Dudley
of Queen Anne's; Norman, Truitt, of Wor.; Buckey, Waters,
Bast, Lakin, Brown, of Frederick; Mitchell, Proctor,
Hopkins, Foster, Satterfield, Scrimger, Dunn, Gately,
Mencke, Bramble, Sanford, Knott, Lehmayer, Latrobe,
Curtis, Duncan, Martenet, Siegmund, Coyer, Robinson,

The Journal of the 16th was read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.

Mr. Biggs presented the memorial of the Ministerial
Association of Hagerstown and others, against any modi-
fication of the liquor license law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Judiciary.

The Speaker presented the petition of W. J. Wash-
burn and others, of Quantico, Va., against change in
Sunday laws.

Also,

The protest of Rev. J. Addison Smith and 72 other
residents of Baltimore, against any change in the Sun-
day laws.

Also,

The petition of Rev. J. E. Smith and 80 others against
any change in Sunday laws.
