LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
. Mr. Stewart, moved reconsideration of Senate printed
bill No. 70, which was made the special order for Tues-
day next, at 1 o'clock.
Which motion was unanimously adopted.
Mr. Stewart then moved, that said bill be made the
special order for to-morrow at 1 o'clock, P. M.
On motion of Mr. Gibson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
a sum of money to pay Malcolm Graham and Maggie
Ireland, administrators of John F. Ireland, deceased, and
Joseph M. Sherbert, for expenses and counsel fees of
John F. Ireland and Joseph M. Sherbert, it the contested
election case of Arthur A. Harkness and Samuel R. Bird,
against them in the House of Delegates in the year 1896.
