Joint Resolution to request the commission created by
chapter 311, of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1898,
to make provision for the submission by Maryland Sculp-
tors of Models before determining the models to be ap-
proved.

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Collins, from the Committee on Claims, reported
favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate the sum of
$200 to King Bros., to pay them for extra printing done
by them for the General Assembly, at the session of 1898,
and not included in their contract as State printers. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Latrobe, from Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 146 A.
146 B, 146 C, 146 D, 146 E, 146 F, of Article 81, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title 'Revenue and Taxes, '
as amended by chapter 120 of the Acts of Assembly in
the year 1896, and chapters 313 and 505 of the Acts of
Assembly in the year 1898. ' "

Which was read a first time.

Also favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to correct a clerical error
in paragraph 19, of section 1, of the Act of 1898, chapter
323, entitled 'An Act to appropriate a certain sum of
money in support of sundry schools and charitable insti-
tutions in the State of Maryland, for each of the two
fiscal years ending on the 30th day of September, 1899,
and on the 30th day of September, 1900, respectively,
and to appropriate for the hospital for the women of
Maryland, the sum of $2, 000 which under said Act, as
signed by the Governor, said hospital failed to receive in
consequence of said clerical error, ' "

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the regis-
tration of all persons duly admitted and licensed to prac-
tice as attorneys-at-law or counsellors at law in the
Courts of record of the State of Maryland. "
