WEDNESDAY, Feb. 7, 1900.

The House met at 12 M., and was opened with
prayer by the Rev. J. B. Pruitt.

Present at the call of the roll the following members;

Frederick; Mitchell, Proctor, Hopkins, Foster, Satterfield,

The Journal of the 6th was read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.

Mr. Collins presented the petition of the druggists of
Talbot county, against the passage of the Pharmacy bill.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Hy-
giene.

Mr. Corkran presented a petition from Ellwood N. Gas-
lin, F. H. Spence and others, of Dorchester county, ask-
ing for a law to close Choptank river to dredge and scrape
boats.

Which was read and referred to the Dorchester county
delegation.
