and 693, of Article 49, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, entitled 'City of Baltimore, ' as amended
and re-enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
by the Act of 1898, chapter 123, and re-enacted with
amendments. "

On motion of Mr. Choate,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add an additional
section to Article 24, of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled 'Costs, ' to be known as 'Article 10, ' and to
provide that the Supreme Bench of Baltimore city and
the Judges of the Circuit Court of the counties be em-
powered to pass rules and regulations providing for the
giving security by plaintiffs for counsellors' costs in ac-
tions brought by them. "

On motion of Mr. Waller,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act providing for
a State subscription to the Maryland Calendar of Wills. "
On motion of Mr. Cover,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 743, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ' City
of Baltimore, ' sub-title ' Police, ' and to re-enact the same
with amendments. "

On motion of Mr. Kimble,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to refund a sum of money
to John Keilholtz for money paid as State tax on trust
funds invested in real estate mortgages, such mortgages
not being liable to taxation. "

On motion of Mr. Staley,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to regulate the rate
and conditions upon which the several turnpike road
companies of Washington county may charge and collect
tolls on bicycles and other like vehicles propelled by
human muscles. "

On motion of Mr. Biggs,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
