1900. ] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, 2029

1901, and a like sum of $24, 000 for the year 1902, for
the Johns Hopkins University.

2nd. That the House concur in the 2nd Senate amend-
ment, increasing the appropriation of the Baltimore City
Hospital from $3, 000 to $5, 000, for each of the fiscal
years 1901 and 1902.

3rd. That the House concur in the 3rd Senate amend-
ment, increasing the appropriation for the Managers for
the Maryland Hospital for the Insane at Spring Grove, the
sum of $5, 000 for each of the fiscal years 1901 and 1902.

4th. That the Senate recede from the 4th Senate
amendment, appropriating the sum of $3, 000 for each of
the fiscal years 1901 and 1902, for the Bureau of Immi-
gration.

5th. That the House concur in the fifth Senate
amendment, appropriating the sum of $1, 500 to the Fish
Commissioner.

6th. That the House concur in the 6th Senate amend-
ment, appropriating the sum of $250 for each of the fiscal
years of 1901 and 1902, for the Hebrew Aged Home of
Baltimore city.

7th. That the Senate recede from that part of the 7th
Senate amendment which strikes out section 56 of the
engrossed bill, appropriating to the National Temperance
Hospital of Baltimore city the sum of $1, 000, for each of
the fiscal years of 1901 and 1902.

8th. That the Senate recedes from that part of the 7th
Senate amendment, which strikes out sub-section 57 of
the engrossed bill, and recommends that said sub-section

57 be amended by striking out the word "fifteen" wher-
ever it occurs in said sub-section 57, and insert in lieu
thereof the word "twelve, " thereby decreasing the appro-
priation to twelve thousand dollars for each of the fiscal
years 1901 and 1902 for the three medical schools.

9th. That the Senate recede from that part of the
seventh Senate amendment which strikes out sub-section

58 of the engrossed bill leaving the appropriation to the
St. Joseph's House of Industry without change.

10th. That the House concur in the second part of the
