Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 740 and 741, of Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of the city of Baltimore,
sub-title 'Police Commissioners, ' as said sections were
enacted by chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898. "
Mr. Seigmund proposed the following amendment:
PROPOSED AMENDMENT.
In section 740, in line 6, after the word "the, " strike
out the word "Senate" and insert the words "General
Assembly. "
During the consideration of the amendment,
Mr. Seigmund moved that the House adjourn.
But the motion was lost.
