House bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the laying of
railroad tracks upon Lombard street, between Patterson
Park avenue and Exeter street in the city of Baltimore,
without the consent of the General Assembly. "

At the end of section 1 add the following:

"And provided, further, that nothing herein contained
shall be construed to impair or limit in any manner the
powers and rights of the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore to regulate the use in all respects of said street
under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of 1898,
chapter 123, known as the 'Charter of Baltimore city. '''
