Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 745 of Article 4 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title 'City of Baltimore,

sub-title 'Police Commissioners' as said section was en-
acted by chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898. "

lowing:

"And provided, further, that nothing herein shall be
construed to legislate out of office any police officer, de-
tective or officer of police now on the force, or any em-
ployee of the Board of Police Commissioners. "
