Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Revenue and Taxes, ' so far as the said section relates to
the 'City of Baltimore, ' and to re-enact the same with
amendments, as sections 164 A and 164 B, of Article 4,
Public Local Laws. "

Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Ways and Means.

Also,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Kent county to pay to the Town Com-
missioners of Millington, in said county, a sum of money
for the purpose of keeping in repair the public roads of
Millington. "

Which was read a first time and referred to the Kent
county delegation and Mr. Disharoon.

Also returned,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 1, 3 and
31 of Article 59 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Lunatics and Insane, ' and to re-enact the same with
amendments. "

Endorsed: " Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays. "

Also delivered,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to provide for the
acquisition of a lot of land and the erection thereon
by the State of Maryland, of a building in the city of
Annapolis, in which shall be located the court room, con-
sultation and other rooms of the Court of Appeals, the
State Library or portion thereof, the Comptroller's office,
the Land Commissioner's office, the Tax Commissioner's
office, the Treasurer's office; and for such other purposes
as may be deemed proper, and to appropriate a sum of
money therefor, and to provide for the removal of the
building upon State House hill, known as the 'Comp-
troller's Office. '"
