Mr. Wolfe moved to reconsider the vote by which the
order to pay engrossing clerks was adopted.

Which motion prevailed.

Mr. Wolfe then submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Speaker of the House is hereby
given authority to appoint such additional members of
the Engrossing Committee, and to retain or add to the
number of clerks to said committee as he may deem neces-
sary; and that the members of said committee and the
clerks thereto shall receive the same compensation as was
allowed for similar services at the last session, one hun-
dred dollars.
