House bill entitled "An Act to change the name of
Parsons' Creek Election District of Dorchester county to
that of Taylor's Island Election District of Dorchester
county. "

grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to compensate Sarah Wise,
of Baltimore city, for damages to certain property be-
longing to said Sarah Wise arising from a defective con-
duit or drain owned and operated by the State of Mary-
land. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Mary-
land Sanitary Refrigerating and Ventilating Company. "
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Insert in section 5, on line 5 of the bill after the word
"matters" the following words, "incident to its business
as aforesaid. "

And in line 17, of the same section after the word
"refuse" insert the following words, "incident to its
business as aforesaid. "

And at and after the end of section 5, add the follow-
ing words: "Provided that nothing in this Act contain-
ed shall authorize the said corporation to construct or
operate either a general or private sewerage or illumi-
nating gas business, in the city of Baltimore. "
