AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

By Corporation Committee.

At the end of section. 1, insert the following:

"Provided further, That before using the public or
county roads the assent of such use by the Board of
County Commissioners must be first had and obtained;
and provided further, that before using any of the lanes,
alleys or streets of any incorporated town or municipality,
the assent of the authorities of said town or municipality
must be first had and obtained. "

House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Invest-
ment Trust Company of Baltimore county. "

Which was read a first time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Southern
Mutual Life Insurance Company of Baltimore city. "

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 2 and 3, of chapter 322, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1898,
entitled "An Act to amend the charter and extend the
powers of the Frederick Electric Light and Power Com-
pany of Frederick city, a corporation formed under Art-
icle 23, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
entitled 'Corporations, ' and recorded in the Records of
Corporations of Frederick county, Liber No. 2, folios
265 and 266. "

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Krems moved that the vote by which the Anne
Arundel delegation was required to report by 1. P. M.,
to-day, be reconsidered.

Which motion prevailed.
On motion,

Said report was ordered to be made to-morrow, at 1
P. M.
