Mr. Cover, presented the following
JOINT RESOLUTIONS:
Whereas, The Chickamauga and Chattanooga National
Park Commission have issued invitations for a general
inspection of the work of the Commission on October
the 9th, 10th, and 11th, 1900, for examination of the tab-
lets arid monuments commemorating the seven battle
fields of Chickamauga, Wauhatchie, Brown's Ferry,
Orchard Knob, Lookout Mountain, Missionary Ridge and
Ring Gold Gap, ail of which are embraced in the park
project, and upon each of which the lines of battle have
been established and monuments and markers erected;
and
Whereas, The Army of the Cumberland and the So-
ciety of the Army will hold a joint reunion at Chatta-
nooga upon the dates named, at which reunion members
of all Army Societies and Posts interested in these bat-
tles, both Union and Confederate, and individuals of each
of the armies engaged, will attend; and
Whereas, It is desired to secure the attendance of the
Governors of the States, a committee from Congress
and committees from the several States to be selected by
the resolution of the Legislatures thereof; therefore, be it
Resolved, By the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Governor, be and is hereby requested to appoint
a committee of six representatives to represent the State
of Maryland and to attend the reunion of the Army of
Cumberland, at Chatanooga, on October the 9th, 10th and
11th, 1900, to bear the greetings and the good will of the
State of Maryland to the assembled veterans of both the
Union and Confederate Armies.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 13 of Article 99 of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, title 'Wild Fowl, Birds and Game, ' and
all other laws inconsistent with the provision of this Act
in so far as they relate to the killing, catching or having
in possession birds and game in Queen Anne's county. "
