AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
By majority of the Baltimore city delegation,

Strike out all after the words "A bill, " and insert in
lieu thereof the following:

"Entitled an Act to repeal sections 232, 233 and 234,
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'City of
Baltimore, ' sub-title 'Miscellaneous Local Laws, ' as enact-
ed by the chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898. "

"Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 232, 233 and 234 of Article 4 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title, 'City of Baltimore, '
sub-title 'Miscellaneous Local Laws, ' as re-enacted by
chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, be and are hereby re-
pealed.

"Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. "

ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to secure to the Mercantile
library of Talbot county the use of a set of the Archives
of Maryland, as published by the Maryland Historical
Society. "
