House bill entitled "An Act to repeal all existing laws
for Somerset county, relating to 'Wild Fowl and Game
Birds and Animals, ' and to enact the following in lieu
thereof, for the better protection and preservation of the
same. "
AMENDMENT PROPOSED
By Mr. Dryden:
Strike out all of section 10, and insert in lieu thereof
the following:
"And be it enacted, That it shall be unlawful to hunt
for foxes or pursue them with dogs between March 10th
and November 1st, in each and every year. Any person
violating this section shall be deemed guilty of a misde-
meanor, and be subject to a fine of not less than five
dollars, and not more than twenty-five dollars for each
and every offence. "
