On motion of Mr. Truitt, of Baltimore county,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the
division of the Second Election Precinct of the Ninth
Election District of Baltimore county, into two election
precincts, to be known as 'Precinct No. 2, and Precinct
No, 5, ' respectively. "
On motion of Mr. Collins,
Leave was granted to the delegations from Dorchester,.
Talbot and Caroline counties to introduce a bill entitled
"An Act to repeal chapter 488, of the Acts of 1898, title
respectively 'Talbot, Dorchester and Caroline counties. ' "
On motion of Mr. Johnson (by request),
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 623 and
630, Article 4, entitled 'City of Baltimore, ' of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, as enacted by chapter
133, of the Acts of 1898, title 'Charter and Miscellaneous
Local Laws, ' sub-title 'Justice of the Peace and Con-
stables, " and to re-enact the same with amendments. "
On motion of Mr. Linthicum,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means, to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to pay Harry
Conway, owner of the schooner M. W. Davis, the sum of
$1, 151. 76, indemnity to him for damage and loss of said
schooner, her cargo and provisions by collision with the
State steamer, Robert M. McLane. "
