AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

On line 71, section 2, on page 4 of the bill, strike out
all after the word "company, " beginning with and in-
cluding the words "and provided, " down to the end of
the said section, and in lieu thereof substitute the fol-
lowing:

"Provided said company may make any lawful agree-
ment to connect its lines with any other line of railway
but said company shall not consolidate with any other
company. "

Strike out the whole of section 8.

strike out "this or. "

In line 18 of section 119 A, after the word "rates" in-
sert the words "for such forms of policy contract. "

At the end of section 119 A, after the word 'State" in-
sert the following: "Provided nothing in this section
shall be held to apply to any policy contracts of insur-
ance upon the lives of non-residents of this State. "
