the January session in the year 1890, entitled 'An Act to
regulate the sale and the granting of license for the sale
of spirituous and fermented liquors in Baltimore county,
and also to repeal chapter 436 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January session in
the year 1896, amendatory thereto, and also to add 3 new
sections to said chapter 334 of the said Acts of 1890, en-
titled as aforesaid, to come in after section 21, and to be
designated as 'Section 21 A, 21 B and 21 C, respectively. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
By Baltimore county delegation.

After the words "a bill entitled An Act, " strike out all
of title down to and including the words "and also" in
line 8.

At the beginning of line 9, strike out word the "said"
and after the words "four of the" in line "No. 9" strike
out the word "said. "

After the word "entitled" in line 10, strike out the
words "as aforesaid" and insert in lieu thereof the words
"An Act to regulate the sale and granting of license for
the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in Baltimore
county. "

After the words "Maryland that, " line 12, strike out
all of section 1 down to and including the word "with"
at the beginning of line 22.

After words "additional sections, " in line 21, strike out
the word "added" and insert the words "are hereby ad-
ded to chapter 334 of the Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to
regulate the sale and the granting of license for the sale
of spirituous and fermented liquors in Baltimore county. "

Strike out sections 4, 6 and 16.

In line 6 of section 21 A, after the word "of" said word
being the second word in said line, strike out the words

"qualified voters" and insert in. lieu thereof "10 reputable
taxpayers. "
