amendments, Article 101, of the Code of Public General
Laws, known as 'Stationary Engines, ' as passed by the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1892, chapter 448. "

Mr. Duncan, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 669 and
670, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, entitled 'City of Baltimore, 'sub-title 'Licenses, '
as amended and re-enacted by chapter 123, of the Acts of
1898, and to re-enact the same with amendments. "

Mr. Wilkinson, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize and empower
the Mayor and City Council of Pocomoke city, Md., to
contract first with the owners of the present electric
light plant in said city to furnish to said city the power
to run their present water plant, or, secondly, to contract
to furnish to the electric light plant place and sufficient
power to run said plant, and in the event of said last
mentioned contract being made, the said Mayor and
Council of Pocomoke city are authorized and empowered
