House bill entitled "An Act to pay Samuel P. Wilson, late
tax collector for the First Election district of Wicomico
county, a sum of money erroneously paid by him into
the State treasury. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Lehmayer, from the Judiciary Committee, reported
favorably, with the request that the same be sent to the
Committee on Agriculture,

House bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 27, of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Crimes
and Punishments, ' by adding thereto two additional sec-
tions, to follow immediately after section 99, and to be
numbered 'Sections 100 and 101, ' under the sub-title
'Fraud, Fruit and Vegetable Packing, '"

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Agriculture.

Mr. Latrobe, from the Committee on Ways and Meats,
reported unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the sale of ag-
ricultural seeds in the State of Maryland. ''

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the Frostburg Forum and other news-
papers for publishing the Constitutional Amendment and
Governor's Proclamation. "

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Lehmayer, from Committee on Labor, reported fa-
vorably, with the request that the same be sent to the
Committee on Labor,

House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the payment
of wages and to prohibit certain oppressive exactions and
restrictions on the part of employers in the payment of
wages and providing a penalty for the violations of the
provisions thereof, the same to add ten additional sections
to Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, to come
in after section 169, under the new sub-title 'Protection
of Employees, ' and to be known as 'Sections 169 H, 169
I, 169 J, 169 K, 169 L, 169 M, 169 N, 169 O. 169 P and
169 Q. '"
