modification of the Fish Law in Choptank river.

Which was read and referred to the Talbot and Dor-
chester county delegations.

ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Robinson, it was
Ordered, That William L. Cover be excused from to-
day's session on account of serious illness.

On motion of Mr. Biggs, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Wolfinger be excused from attend-
ance at to-day's session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Sandman, H was

Ordered, That Henry Mann be excused from this days
session on account of sickness.

Mr. Waters submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Committee on Insurance and Loans
te directed and required to report at the session of Wed-
nesday morning:, March 21, upon Printed House Bill No.
1, entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 248 of the Acts of
1894, of the Public General Laws, entitled 'An Act to
create a Fire Marshal for the State of Maryland.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Simmons, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Gibson be excused from to-day's
session on account of sickness.

Mr. Collins, submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the State Printers, the Wm. J. C. Du-
laney Company, are hereby authorized and directed to
furnish one thousand copies of the roster of the military
and naval organizations from Maryland in the United
States Volunteer service during the Spanish-American
War.

The one thousand copies of said work shall be printed
and distributed as follows: Two hundred copies, one hun-
dred bound in cloth, to the Executive Department, to be
distributed to the several States of the Union in exchange
for similar works published by said States, and to offi-
cials and citizens of this State requiring such official in-
formation; two hundred copies, one hundred bound in
