1800.
    III.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That the justices of the levy court of Prince-George's county are
hereby authorised and directed to levy the sum of five hundred dollars, to enable the commissioners
to carry this act into execution; and when the said road shall be completed, the said commissioners
shall settle their accounts with the levy court of Prince-George's county, and pay over the balance,
if any, that may remain in their hands, and the balance shall be by the levy court applied to the use
of said county.

LXXV.

money, &c.
CHAP. LXXVI.
An ACT to aid and amend defects in the records, papers and proceedings,
                    in the register of wills office of Harford county.

BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That all letters testamentary, all letters of
administration, all testamentary bonds, all administration bonds, all inventories, and all guardians
bonds, and all accounts of sperate and desperate debts, and accounts of sales, not heretofore recorded
in the office of the register of wills in Harford county, and which shall be hereafter filed in
said office, shall be fairly recorded by the register of wills of said county in folio book, well bound,
with a correct and fair index to the same.

    II.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That all wills, heretofore recorded and certified by the late register of
wills of said county to have been proved according to law, although such probat and certificate are
not in due form of law, and have not been endorsed on said will in words at length, or recorded in
words at length, or signed by the late register, shall be as good, valid, and of the same avail in law,
to every intent, as if the said probat and certificate had been endorsed on said will, and signed by
the late register, and recorded in due form of law.

    III.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That all inventories, accounts of sperate and desperate debts, and
accounts of sales, heretofore returned to and filed in said office, upon which the oath prescribed by
law has not been endorsed and certified, and signed by said register according to law, and which have
not been duly recorded, shall be and are hereby declared to be as good and available in law as if the
said oath endorsed and certified thereon had been in due form so recorded.

    IV.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That all errors in casting up figures in any account heretofore rendered,
and in any inventory heretofore filed, shall and may be corrected by the register of wills, under
the directions of the orphans court of said county.

    V.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That in all cases where inventories, accounts of sperate and desperate
debts, and accounts of sales, have been filed, and no sort of probat and certificate endorsed on the 
same, that the orphans court aforesaid shall and may issue a citation for the executors or administrators,
or their survivors, personally to appear before said court, and make oath agreeably to the form
prescribed by law.

    VI.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That in all cases where an account of sales has not been returned to
said office, and the executors and administrators are not deceased, and where there are survivors, the
said orphans court, shall and may issue process to compel the said executors and administrators, or
their survivors, to return in due form of law a regular account of sales.

    VII.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That all testamentary bonds, all administration bonds, and all
guardians bonds, filed in said register's office, being in the hand writing of the said late register, but
not signed by him, or any other person as a witness, shall be as good, and of the like avail in law,
as if the same had been signed by the said late register as a witness.

    VIII.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That in all cases where wills have heretofore been filed in said register's
office, and not proved according to law, and the witnesses thereto are deceased, that probat
of the hand writing of the witnesses, and of the testator, or probat of the actual execution of said
will by any other competent witness or witnesses, made in the said orphans court, shall be as good,
and of the like avail in law, as if the said will had been heretofore duly proved in the said orphans
court, in the form prescribed by law, which said probat shall be endorsed on said will, and certified
by the register of wills, and recorded as other probats of wills are endorsed, certified and recorded.

    IX.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That the register of wills of Harford county shall be entitled to charge
and receive the same fees for doing the duties herein prescribed as he is entitled to receive for like
