the plte ought not to have his accon ag^t: the def^t: because the p^r:misses in y
said bond hath bin Sued & recovered & Judgem^t: thereupon granted & therefore
ought not to have a Second Judgem^t: upon the Said Bond / James Sangster
The Jury having rec^d: theire Charge goe forth from the Co^rt: on the Cause depending
And the Same Day to witt the 14^th: day of March Annoq Do^m: 1687 Comes Capt^a: Henry Smith

Certaine bond to be Satisfied upon John Rousalloe and defendants acc^ot: ordered that the verditt

Somerset County Ss Edward Gould late of this County was attached to answ^r: unto Christopher Snossall
in an accon of assault & Battery
And whereupon the plte by Thomas Poole his attorney Saith that he the S^d: Edward by force of armes
as Swordes Staves & knives one him the said plte in the house of W^m: Heathly in the afores^d:
County upon the 25^th: day of october last past in the year of o^r: Lord 1687 he made an assault &
him the said plte beate & Evill intreated y^t: of his Life he did dispaire & other harmes to him
he Did To the great Damadge of the plte & Contrary to the peace & Governm^t: of y Lord Prop^ry:
whereupon the plte saith he is Damnified & hath Damadge to the vallue of Sixteene hundred
pounds of tobacco & thereupon brings this Suite / Jn^o: Doe
Tho: Poole pro quer Pled de P^ro: Richard Roe
And the def^t: by James Sangster Comes & Saith not guilty as to matter & forme
The Jury having rec^d: theire Charge goe forth from the Co^rt: on the Cause depending
