Abraham Knott pl^t: the def^t: not appeareing Came Matthew Scarbrough of this
ag^t: County and Craved a Continuance in the behalfe of the def^t:
Cleborne Hazlewood def^t: afores^d: and till Next County Court and further if the def^t:
did not then appeare and Cast by due Course of Law the Said
Scarbrough did further promise to pay and satisfie unto Abraham
Knott both the Debt and Cost &^t:

In an accon of the Case &^t: //
And Whereupon the pl^t: by his Attourney Thomas Poole Comes and sayth that she the
Said Rodeyah standeth indebted unto the pl^t: the full and just Sume of five Thousand three
hundred and Eighty pounds of Tobaccoe in the yeare of our Lord 1686 it being due to the pl^t: for
Severall Journyes and Phisicall Meanes reced of the pl^t: at Severall times as pr accompt here in
Court prduced the which accompt She the said Rodeyah doth refuse to pay although often there=
Unto required by the pl^t: Whereupon the pl^t: brings this acco^t: ag^t: the estate of the afores^d: John
Cropper late of this County deced &^t: Acco^t: read & prused
Came John Vigerous & made Oath to his accompt - - -
And the def^t: in her proper prson Cometh and defendeth the force & injury when &^t: & prayeth
Liberty to imparle hereunto untill the Next County Court & it is granted her the same
Day is granted to the pl^t: alsoe
At which Said County Court Viz^t: the 13^th: day of June in the xiiii^th yeare of the Domion
of the R^t: hono^ble: Charles &^t: annog Domi 1689 Came the parties afores^d: and by Mutuall
Consent put themselves to the judgment of this Court
Whereupon it is Considered by this Court here that the Said John Vigerous recover ag^t:
Rodeyah ffossett adm^rx: afores^d: the sume of One Thousand pounds of Tobacco in full of
his said acco^t: and the Def^t: in Mercy &^t: - - -
