Somm^rsett Ss: George Hasfurt was Summoned to answ^r y Suite of George Phoebus in an accon of y Case: / :
And the said Phoebus by his attorney Henry Smith Saith that George Hasfurt Did assume upon himselfe
to receive by order of Robert Blades as hee pretended of George Phoebus in y moneth of November in y
yeare of o^r Lord God 1675: y full & just Summe of five hundred & fifty pounds of tobacco & Casque as pr his
Receipt here in Co^rt: produced more plainely will appeare but y Said Robert Blades Denyeth y^t hee ever
empowered y said Hasfurt to receive y aforesaid Summ of 550^lb Tobacco neith^r Did y Said Hasfurt pay
y aforesaid Summ unto y Said Blades whereby y said George was Sued & putt into prison & was Damni
fied to y value of 2000^lb tobacco & Caske but y said Hasfurt Denyeth to repay unto y said Phoebus y
aforesaid Summ of 550^lb tobacco with Dammadges although thereunto hath been Demanded and

1677: Came before y Co^rt & then & there Confest Judgement for five hundred & fifty pounds of tobacco Due
to y plaintiffe George Phoebus & thereupon this Co^rt: orders that y said George Hasfurt pay unto George ~~
Phoebus or his order five hundred pounds & fifty of Tobacco with Cost of Suit alias execucon ~ ~ ~ ~
