The Same Day Comm^rs: as afore:
Whereas Abraham Metcap Servant to John Panther of this County was brought this Day before y Co^rt: to be ad
judged The said Abraham Metcap comeing into this province without indenture & brought before y Co^rt within
y time limited by act of assembly in Such cases made & provided after a full veiw had & taken by y Justices of y
Said Servant they judge y said Abraham Metcap to bee betweene fifteene & eighteene yeares of age: / : And:
thereupon y Said John Panther Master of y Said Servant voluntary of his owne free will acknowledged in ~
open Co^rt: y^t y S^d Abraham Metcap Should Serve him or his assignes noe longer then Six yeares wh^ch: this Co^rt:

before y Justices then in Co^rt: Setting Did acknowledge to have received of George Betts within named in
full satisfaction of his estate left in y hands of George Betts ffour Thousand three hundred thirty & three

Whereas Tristram Davis was brought to Co^rt by ffrancis Roberts to bee adjudged which Servant hee bought of m^r
Edward Gibbs The assigne of Thomas Davis Master of y endeavour of Barbadoes y Servant alleadged y^t hee was
a Servant by indenture to Serve y S^d Davis att Sea for nine yeares Two of which hee had already Served y truth
of y boyes allegacon as to having of an indenture & y^t hee had Served two yeares of y time & had Sold him for
Seaven yeares was acknowledged to Severall members of this Co^rt: by Thomas Davis Thereupon y Co^rt: would not
proceede to judge of his age and itt is their opinion y^t hee ought not to bee Sould to Serve in this Country unless
y Said Davis produceth his indenture and that expresseth That hee or his assignes may employ him here:
