Sommersett Ss: William Thomas late of this County was Attached to answer
the Suite of John Winder in an accon of Trespas upon y Case
5 And the said John by his Attourney Henry Smith saith That the sd: William
became Indebted unto the said John the summe of six hundred pounds of tobacco
& Caske for boate hire to transport his goods over the bay into Virga: in the
Intrat agt: yeare 1673 but the said William ffraudulently intending refuseth to pay
Janr: Cort: the aforesaid summe of 600lb: of tob: & Caske allthough thereunto hath bin
1674 severall times Demanded whereby the said John is Damnified & hath
Dammadge to y vallue of 1200lb: tob: & Caske & thereupon brings his Suite
pro quere Henry Smith

Intrat agt: the said Henry for goods delivered to his order in the yeare 1673 the sume
Janr: Cort: of seaven hundred & ninety pounds of tobacco & Caske but the sd: William
1674 ffraudulently intending refuseth to pay the Aforesaid summe of 790lb: tob:
& Caske Allthough severall times thereunto hath bin required whereby
the said Henry is Damnified & hath Dammadge to y vallue of 1500lb: tob:
& Caske and thereupon brings his Suite ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
