2 Sommersett Ss John Avery Late of this County (was summoned to answer)
unto Randal Revell (in an accon of the Case &c) ; / ;
And whereupon the said Randall by mr: Henry Smith his Attourney
Saith That he the said John Avery became Indebted unto him the said
intrat in gb Randall Revell in the Just Summe & quantity of one thousand
agt five hundred & forty pounds of tobacco and Caske as pr accot: here
Janr Cort: produced in Cort: Doth appeare the said John having paid 800lb: of tob
& no more of y said 1540lb: tob the said John Denying & Still doth to pay
y ballance of y accot: which is the full summe of seaven hundred
& forty pounds of tobacco & Caske y plt: saith he is Damnified & hath
Dammadge to y vallue of 1400lb: tob: & thereupon he brings his Suite &c.

unto Thomas Ball in an accon of the Case ~ ~ ~ ~
And whereupon the said Thomas for himselfe saith yt: the said William
became Indebted unto the said Thomas for Accomodacon seaven months
Intrat in gb for himselfe & his sonne William y Just quantity of eleaven hundred pounds
agt of tobacco in Caske to be payd y 10th: day of october in the yeare 1673 which
Janr: Cort: quantity the said William Did assume to make payment yett the sd:
sume of 1100lb: tob: though often Demanded & requested to make payment
hath not pd: but the same alltogether doth Deny to y great Damadge of
y sd: Thomas & further saith hath Losse to y vallue of 2200lb: tob: in Caske
