6 if yee may not doe it yee Shall Certifie his Lopps or some of
his Councell thereof such as yee Shall know for Certaine will
say itt unto his Lopps: yee Shall not respit his Lopps Debts for
any guift or favour where you may rayse them without greivance
of the Debtor, yee Shall truly and Righteously treat the people of
yor: Sherriffwick and doe right to poore as well as to ritch in all -
that belongeth to your office; yee Shall doe no wrong to any man
for any guift or other behest promise of goods for favour nor hate
yee Shall disturbe no mans right; yee Shall Acquitt all those of
whome yee Shall any thing receive of his Lopps: Debts yee Shall
nothing take whereby his Lopps: may loose or that Right may be
Letten or disturbed or his Lopps: Debts delayed; yee Shall truly
returne and truly serve his Lopps: writts as farr forth as it Shall be
in yor: Cunning yee Shall receive no writts unsealed nor Sealed by
any but by the Justices of the Chancery Provinciall or County Courts
or such other as Shall be thereto Authorised by the Lord Proprietary
yee Shall truly Sett and returne reasonable and due issues of them
that be within yor: Baliwick after their estate and property? - All
