Boston october the 2 1675
Know All men by these Presents that I Abraham Gording of
Boston in New England mariner And successor unto Mathew
Armstrong Late of Boston aforesaid mariner have And hereby
Doe Constitute ordained Deputed and appointe my Loving
freind mr: Jonas Clarke of Boston aforesaid marriner my
True and Lawfull Attorney for me and in my name
and Stead and for my use to aske Demand require and
to use all manner of Lawfull meanes to recover of
whomesoever it may Concerne in Virginia or Maryland
or any place or places therein all such summe or summes
of money Tobacco goods or other estate as Shall be or now
is due oweing or payable unto me the Constituant or unto
my predecessor or to either of us or our heires executors:
or assignes whether it be by bill bond Accompt
rent or Arrearage thereof or any other wayes or
meanes whatsoever; And in perticular to use all
Lawfull meanes to recover out of the hands of mr: Daniell
Curtisse in the County of Sommersett in the Province of
Maryland The quantity of foure Thousand pounds of
good marchantable tobacco due by bill; And from Stephen
Bond in the same County in Ditto Province of Maryland
aforesaid six hundred pounds of good and marchantable tobacco
and Caske Due by bill ; / And from mr: Randall Revell
of said County of Sommersett in the Province of Maryland
eighteene hundred pounds of good marchantable Tobacco
due by bill with all dues Damages for non payment
thereof
