untill the said horse Did perish to Death Contrary to Law
and the peace of the Province whereby the said John is
Damnified & hath Dammadge to the vallue of Two thousand
nine hundred and ninety pounds of tobacco and thereupon

It is ordered that this Cause depending betweene John
Dorman plt: & Richard Stevens deft: be referred to the
next County Cort: ; / ; ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The deposicon of Wm: Arundall aged 38 or
thereabouts;
Saith Aboute the middle of May or thereabout Richard
Stevens desired me to give John Dorman notice that
he had taken up his horse and desired him to fetch
him but I said I am A Little bussy Ile Send the girle
and I did send her and presently afterward John Dorman
Came and said what have you tyed up my horsse; And
he said I; And he said why had ye not brought him
home and he said no if you will not fetch him he
Shall Stand there untill this day Sevenight I thought
it A neighbourly Courtesy to give you notice to take
a Course with him; he said noe Ile take a Course with
you William Arundale take notice I Demand my
horse of Richard Stevens; and afterwards I did See
A gray horse of John Dormans tyed in Richard
Stevens
