Sommersett Ss Edward Southrin was attached to answer the suite
of ffrancis Jenckins in a plea of Debt
And the said ffrancis by his attorney Henry Smith saith
that the said Edward became indebted unto the sd: ffrancis
the summe of Three hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco &
Caske as more plainely will appeare by A Certaine writing
Signed by his hand and Sealed with his Seale here in Cort:
produced may appeare but the said Edward fraudulently
intending refuseth to pay the aforesaid summe of 340lb: of
tobacco & Caske whereby the said ffrancis is Damnified and
hath Dammadge to the vallue of 1200lb: of tobacco & Caske

Know All men by these presents that I Edward Southrin
of Sommersett County in the Province of Maryland plantor doe
