Know All men by these presents that wee David Browne
of Sommersett County in the Province of Maryland gent George
Betts of the County and Province aforesaid plantor And
John Lawes of the same County and Province aforesaid plantr:
Doe Stand and are firmly bound and oblidged unto the honr:ble
Phillip Calvert esqr: in the Just summe or quantity of Twenty
Thousand pounds of good Sound marchantable tobacco in Caske
To be paid to the said Phillip Calvert or his true and Lawfull
Attorney executors: & administrators: To the which payment
well and Truly to be made we doe binde us and every and
either of us Jointly and severally for and in the whole our
and every and either of our heires executors and admrs:
and every of them firmly by these presents signed with
our hands and Sealed with our Seales Dated the tenth day
of August in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand
Six hundred seaventy and ffive ; / ; ~ ~
The Condicon of this obligacon is such that if The
above bounden John Lawes (administrator: of the estate of
John Nelson Senr: Late of Sommersett County in the Province of
Maryland deceased his heires executors: and administrators
Doe pay and deliver or Cause to be paid and Delivered unto
John Nelson and Bridgett Nelson naturall Chilldren of y above named
John Nelson their late father Deceased the Just summe or
quantity of six Thousand one hundred and seaventy
foure pounds of Tobacco due unto them when they Come
to age or Day of Marriage and alsoe honestly according to
their Degrees Educate and bring up the said Chilldren
duering
