Sommersett Ss Thomas Ball was summoned to answer unto Nehemiah
Covington and Anne his wife alias Ingram gardian
to the orphants of Robert Ingram Deceased in
A plea of Trespas upon the Case
And whereupon the said Nehemiah and Anne in the behalfe
of the orphants of by theire Attorney Henry Smith Saith
That on the 11th: day of August Annoq Domini 1674 order
past against Thomas Ball in this Cort: That the said Thomas
Ball by the last day of March last past Shoulld plant one
hundred apple trees upon the orphants Land of Robert
Ingram at usuall Distance and keepe sufficient ffencing
about them, But he the said Thomas Little regarding
the said order of Cort: in Contempt hath neglected and
refused to plant the said quantity of trees whereby
the said orphants are Damnified And hath
Dammadge to the vallue of Two Thousand pounds
