eighteene hundred twenty one pounds of good Sound tobacco
and Caske Conveniently Conveniently to be paid off the sd:
James owne plantacon and to be delivered in Patuxen
upon Demand after the tenth day of october next ensueing
the Date of A Certaine writing here produced in Cort: will
more plainely appeare Signed with the hand and Sealed
with the Seale of him the said James bearing Date the
third Day of June Annoq Domini 1674 And for the
true performance thereof he the said James bindes
himselfe his heires executors: and admrs: But he the
said James fraudulently intending to deceive him the
said John and Compa: of the said 1824lb: of tobacco and
Caske Denyeth and Still doth to pay the same Although
often thereunto required the plt: saith he is Damnified
and hath Dammadge to the vallue of 2900lb: of Tobacco
and thereupon brings his Suite &c ; / ;

Maryland Ss Know All men by these presents that I James Jones
of the County of Sommersett in the said Province Doe
owe and Stand truly indebted unto John Dudlestone & Compa:
theire heires executors: admrs: or assignes in the full
and Just summe of eighteene hundred twenty one pounds
of good Sound tobacco and Caske Conveniently to be paid off
yor: owne plantacon and to be delivered in patuxen
upon Demand thereof after the 10th: day of october next
