Sommersett Ss William Gullick & Susanna his wife Alias
Susanna Mills was summoned to Answer
unto David Browne in A plea of Debt &c
And whereupon the said David by his Attorney Edward
Jones saith That the said Susanna Mills The now wife
of William Gullick became indebted unto him the sd: David
her freedome right for 50 Acres of Land which She the
said Susanna Did Assume unto her Selfe & promise to
make good unto him the sd: David upon Demand as by A
Certaine writing (here in Cort: produced more plainely
will appeare) signed with the hand & sealed with the
seale of her the sd: Susanna bearing Date the 17th: day of
october Annoq Domini one Thousand six hundred
seaventy and foure; But She the sd: Susanna being now
the wife of William Gullick ffraudulently intending to
Deceive him the sd: David of the sd: right for fifty
Acres of Land Denyeth and still doth to prove and
