Declared the said Mathew Stevens to be the ffather of her Chilld
w^ch: he the said Stevens gott upon her in the said Shipp And
yo^r: plaintiffe having Divers times Civilly Desired and alsoe
required the said Stevens to put yo^r: plaintiffe in (that reasonable
satisfaccon) good securitie to answer the plaintiffes Damadges
which unaccordably will Acrue pr reason aforesaid, But the said
Mathew noe wayes regarding his great abuse Don to yo^r: plaintiffes
servant nor Considering the great expence Losse of the servants
time trouble and Disparagement of yo^r: plaintiffes house nurseing
& Clothing of his the s^d: Stevens Chilld &c peremptorily denyes
yo^r: plaintiffe any good security to Defend him, yo^r: plaintiffe saith
he is Damnified & hath Dammages to the vallue of Three Thousand
pounds of Tobacco & thereupon brings his Suite &c ; / ; ~ ~ ~
And The Def^t: Mathew Stevens by his Attorney Henry Smith
Cometh And defendeth himselfe and saith That he is no wayes
guilty of y fact And soe Craveth Anonsuite there being
noe Cause of accon ; / ;
And whereupon this Co^rt: orders A nonsuite,
